How to obtain long satisfactory service from your new superior stainless steel impression tray.
SUPERIOR Stainless Steel Impression Trays are constructed of high quality stainless steel, with handles and rims that are welded, rather than soldered. The welding assures a complete, durable bond. Stainless steel is a long lasting material that will retain it’s shape even after extended use. Because of this characteristic, rigidity, never use force to modify the shape of the tray. The use of rope wax or compound is an option when adjustments are necessary. To Clean your SUPERIOR Stainless Steel Tray, remove the bulk of the impression material from the tray. Immerse the tray in a solution of COE Tray Cleaner and warm water for 15-30 minutes. Stubborn particles of alginate, compound, wax, etc. may then be removed by lightly brushing with a soft bristle brush. Whenever possible, trays should be stored dry.
NOTE Trays may be routinely sterilized by the following methods:
- Autoclave
- Chemical-vapor
- Immersion (dental sterilant) in Coecide XL or Coecide XL+ glutaraldehyde products.
